I’m still soaking it all in. I cannot believe I have a four year old! The thought of it just makes me go back in time to when she was just a newborn. Oh my goodness, it was pure bliss yet overwhelming all at the same time. Fast forward, and we are already here at four years. I knew time would go by super fast and it’s the little moments that you have to enjoy. The everyday routine, the constant green grass and blue skies. Those little moments are all little miracles that make life worthwhile!
Anyways, with that being said I was so excited to plan something fun for Sofia’s fourth birthday. She was ready since Emma’s birthday. So I knew she was more aware and she was going to enjoy whatever it is that we planned for her. The only thing I knew for sure was that it was going to be Dinosaur theme. She is totally into dinosaurs and so I had to make it as girly as possible. Oh and we even bought a cotton candy machine to make jolly rancher cotton candy, yes it tasted just like it too!
I started with a balloon garland because that is what gives the party some character. I picked pastels and chose everything else to go with it. We had a few activities for the kids to enjoy. There were tattoos, bounce house, piñata (added lashes and a bow), coloring, and a dinosaur craft. We also had grandparents wear Dino suits and those were the perfect addition to have the ultimate dinosaur party.
- Cake – Wink by Erica (white chocolate raspberry)
- Food – Pappasitos (beef and chicken fajita tacos)
- Donuts – Dunkin’ (chocolate iced)
- Drinks – waters, lemonade, and sweet tea
- Playzone – Toddler play zone (halo with Dino hoppers)
I didn’t get to capture all the details that went into this party because it was crazy windy! So I had to keep everything under control but I will be sure to link everything I used for her birthday party.
What do you like the most about party planning? I love seeing my vision come to life!
